The Pitch

Twiliner – Europe’s First Premium Night Bus

Twiliner offers a new way to travel: overnight journeys in fully reclining business-class seats, connecting major European cities while cutting CO₂ emissions by up to 91% compared to air travel. The future of sustainable mobility starts here.

Redefining Overnight Travel

Twiliner combines comfort, sustainability, and efficiency. Our goal is to build a pan-European network of night bus routes that complements existing rail services and provides a real alternative to short-haul flights.

With seats that transform into beds, a boutique-hotel atmosphere, and ultra-low CO₂ emissions, Twiliner turns the journey itself into an experience—safe, stylish, and sustainable.

By leveraging Europe’s existing road network, we can connect not only major hubs but also secondary destinations that are often unreachable by train and impractical to reach by air. Travelers save time, avoid hotel costs, and arrive refreshed in the city center the next morning. Each bus operates with two professional drivers, ensuring safety and minimal stops overnight.

The Twiliner Launch

In autumn 2025, we will begin operating our first two routes with multiple weekly departures:

  • Line 1: Zurich – Basel – Luxembourg – Brussels – Rotterdam – Amsterdam
  • Line 2: Zurich – Bern – Girona – Barcelona

Fares will start at CHF 156, depending on season and demand. Passengers save on flights, hotel nights, and emissions—up to 91% less CO₂ than flying.

New routes and additional operator partnerships are already in preparation. To finance this next stage of growth, Twiliner will launch its crowdinvesting campaign on OOMNIUM.

Bringing Business Class Comfort to the Road

The vision was simple: bring the comfort of business-class air travel to Europe’s roads. Turning that vision into reality required years of development and persistence against industry skepticism.

The result is a patented seat that converts at the push of a button into a full-length bed. This innovation positions Twiliner as a pioneer in making comfortable, safe overnight bus travel possible at scale.

A Scalable Platform for Growth

Our business model combines asset-light operations with strong scalability. We partner with leading bus operators, who finance and operate the vehicles. Over time, we will expand by licensing our patented seating technology, digital booking platform, and brand values across Europe.

This approach allows us to rapidly add cross-border connections, flex capacity based on seasonal demand, and scale into new countries with limited capital expenditure. Each new connection strengthens the Twiliner network, lowers operational risk, and drives higher margins.

Market Potential

Every year, Europeans take over 1 billion trips on routes between 600 and 1,200 km. We estimate that at least 100 million of these journeys could shift to a premium night bus service like Twiliner.

By 2030, our target is a 0.1% market share, equal to 1 million passengers per year—avoiding more than 100,000 tons of CO₂ annually.

Demand spans multiple segments:

  • Leisure travelers – city trips, commuters, expats, and family visits
  • Business travelers – companies and institutions with sustainability targets
  • Non-flyers – around 15% of travelers avoid flying for health or personal reasons
  • Eco-conscious travelers – 76% seek greener options (Booking.com), with 28% willing to spend more time traveling (Expedia)
  • Flight-weary travelers – those looking for a stress-free alternative to airports and early-morning check-ins

With governments preparing to tax high-emission travel options more heavily, the economics of flying are set to worsen. This regulatory shift will accelerate demand for alternative solutions such as Twiliner.

Momentum and Market Validation

On July 2, 2025, we unveiled our first Twiliner bus at a public launch event in Zurich, together with the city of Zurich and Zurich tourism officials. More than 450 visitors joined us to test the unique Twiliner seats, with many purchasing their first tickets on the spot. The bus itself is a milestone: at 14.85 meters, it is the longest and tallest coach currently operating on European roads.
