Why we founded Oazo

We are Rea and Cédric, serial entrepreneurs with over 20 years of experience in building marketplaces and life and business partners. As guests, we spent hours searching for accommodation that was lovingly furnished, conveyed a sense of tranquillity and invited us to slow down – places with soul. As hosts, we didn't want to have to choose between «open to everyone» or «not renting at all».

There was no solution – so we founded Oazo: a private booking platform that is accessible by invitation only. Here you will find guests who appreciate slow travel and hosts who want to share their thoughtfully designed holiday oases with like-minded people. Instead of mass appeal, we focus on curation Ð only homes that we would book ourselves. Instead of anonymity, we focus on trust through selective access. And instead of pure transaction, we focus on genuine hospitality between people who share the same values and understand that a slow travel experience is worth more than the cheapest price.

Why now is the right Time

The slow travel market is growing rapidly – more and more people are looking for meaningful travel experiences away from the mainstream and are willing to invest more to get them. Trends include increased demand for longer stays and extended breaks, as well as remote work. Secondary cities are becoming more popular than mainstream hotspots, cultural immersion is replacing sightseeing, and genuine hospitality is taking the place of purely economic profit. Oazo serves this lucrative niche with a scalable business model.

Where the Journey is headed

Following our launch in August 2025 with 20 Oazo Homes, we will start our funding campaign via OOMNIUM (CHF 380'000) in November.

In 2026, we will launch concierge and host services, carefree packages and AI-supported automation. By the end of 2026, 130 homes will be live, followed by another round of financing with family offices or professional investors. At the same time, we will establish multiple revenue streams Ð platform fees plus subscription models.

In 2028, we will reach breakeven and define our exit strategy. By 2030, we will grow to 1'400 Oazo Homes, 44'000 club members and CHF 4.3 million in revenue.
