Oazo Homes – The Alternative to Airbnb & Co.

The last ten months have been intense. New features every week, growth to 120 curated homes across 15 countries, over 2,000 club members on board, and the first bookings. All without any marketing budget. The foundation is in place. Time to accelerate. Oazo is a private club for design- and culture-conscious travellers, curated on both sides: the homes and the guests. Do you know the feeling of scrolling through listings for hours and still not knowing whether the place actually looks like the photos, whether the host is friendly, or whether you’ll truly be able to enjoy your holiday or workation to the fullest? And then the planning begins, for which you have neither the time nor the headspace. Often what you really want is someone who organises the whole trip for you, knows the area, and curates a handful of activities tailored specifically to you. Someone who gives you genuine insider tips and finds good prices for the quality you’re looking for.

Or the other way around: you’ve created an oasis you want to share, but not with just anyone. You want guests who understand what you’ve built, who appreciate and take care of your oasis. And you want guests who have been vetted and aren’t fake users.

We know both feelings. And we founded Oazo because the solution didn’t exist.

Travel was once a transformative experience. Today it’s noise.

Everyone rushes to the same places because an algorithm or an influencer sent them there. Overcrowded viewpoints and fully booked restaurants. Accommodation that looks stunning in the photos and disappoints in reality. 8 million listings on Airbnb. Guests who book out of exhaustion, not excitement.

The direction is clear: 58% of travellers are simply overwhelmed by too many options (Travelport, 2024). 74% are looking for curated, personalised experiences (Amadeus Travel Dreams, 2026). 70% only trust within their own value system (Edelman Trust Barometer, 2026). People don’t want more options. They want simple decisions and they trust people from their own value system. That’s exactly what Oazo can deliver.

The market is shifting fundamentally. Away from volume, towards meaning. Away from anonymity, towards trust. And we are right there.

What Oazo is

A private club for people who travel for atmosphere, interiors and local culture rather than questionable star ratings and the lowest price possible. Access to the club is by invitation or application. We curate both sides: the homes and the guests. Fewer options, but the right ones. No endless scrolling, no fakes, no unpleasant surprises. Every home personally vetted, every guest checked, every stay protected.

Today we are a booking platform. But our vision goes further: the slowing down should not begin at the destination, but already in the planning. That’s why we are building Oazo step by step into a full concierge service that doesn’t just find you the right home, but thinks through the entire trip. A tailored travel programme, a stocked fridge, and connections to interesting people.

From Zero to One. In Ten Months.

We didn’t chase bookings. We built the system. No marketing budget. No hype. Just focus, a small team, and the conviction that the concept works. 

  • 120 curated homes in 15 countries live, 62 additional homes in onboarding
  • 2,070 club members, 1,829 newsletter subscribers, 5,625 Instagram followers, one initial media partnership
  • First bookings across Italy, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland, from 2 to 12 guests, including first team retreats

    And every week brings new hosts, new club members and proportionally more bookings

The Team

We are not typical startup founders. We are a team of entrepreneurs with a wealth of experience and a shared goal: to fundamentally change the way people travel.

Rea and Cédric have founded, built and led a range of companies, including the design agency Crafft and the platforms wemakeit and OOMNIUM, with a successful public exit at wemakeit. Samuel brings 25 years of hospitality experience. Jérôme knows how to build AI-powered products that scale. Yvonne has positioned her luxury brand to be celebrated in Vogue and the New York Times. Elisa has guided dozens of startups through funding rounds. Four out of six have skin in the game.

Alongside them, an advisory board spanning trend research, tech & AI, business, and marketing. And Panter AG as CTO-as-a-Service, invested through code for equity.

Now is your moment

Before there was much to see, a group of 37 business angels believed in Oazo right from the start. Entrepreneurs, PR and marketing professionals, board members, CEOs, founders, coming from various branches, but seeing the same thing: an idea whose time has come, and whose potential is huge.
We are now opening the next round before talking to professional investors for 2027: a mandatory convertible loan converting into participation certificates at the end of 2026.

One of our three revenue streams is up and running. The other two are subscription models, to follow in 2027 and 2028. If you join now as an early investor, here’s what you can expect: a stake in a venture with a clear growth strategy, a highly professional and dedicated team, the goal to hit breakeven in 2028, and an exit strategy by 2030.

What your investment builds

40% Awareness & Marketing: drive website traffic, convert Instagram followers into club members, launch performance marketing and PR, build partnerships for member acquisition.

30% Product & Engineering: develop public preview of homes, build AI property scout, launch AI travel agent, simplify the application and onboarding process.

15% Scouting & Onboarding: grow the scout network, scale from 120 to 300 homes by year end.

15% Hospitality & Admin: customer retention, host premium service, legal, unforeseen.

The use of funds includes personnel costs (including staff salaries) allocated to the respective areas.
