What happens if I lose access to my wallet?

If you lose access to your wallet, you lose access to your shares (and potentially other digital tokens) and can no longer exercise the associated rights.

It is important that you write down and keep the security key (also called seed phrase or recovery phrase) when setting up your wallet. Your security key consists of twelve words and is your master code that grants you access to your shares.

Important: Write down these twelve words in the correct order and keep them safe. This security key is the access code to your wallet should you, for example, lose your mobile phone or install the wallet on a new device.

Should you nevertheless lose access to your wallet, there is a process to retrieve the shares in cooperation with the company. However, this takes at least six months. This time is required to ensure that, despite the lost access, you are the rightful owner of these shares.
